Individual Therapy

In individual therapy you are free to work on the issues you feel are important and may be holding you back in your life.  As a client centered therapist I strive to create a warm, supportive, and shame-free environment where you can discover and be your authentic self without fear of judgement.

The therapeutic relationship between you and myself will be the foundation for our work together. Creating a safe space for you is a priority and a primary catalyst for self discovery and  creating change.  I believe you are the best expert on yourself and have the resources necessary for self-understanding and altering your self-concept and behaviors.

While my foundation comes from a client centered perspective, I also incorporate psychodynamic, emotion focused, and cognitive based ideologies.

As a team we will work together to develop goals for therapy, and I will guide, counsel, and support you in working toward meeting those goals.  My hope is for you to treat yourself with compassion, kindheartedness, and self-acceptance while working to make changes in your life.
